Botox and Dysport both relax the muscles close to the injection site. Both block a chemical called Acetylcholine. Because muscle contraction can cause wrinkles, these neurotoxins relax the muscles, leading to fewer wrinkles.
Dysport is less expensive
Although there are some major differences between Dysport and Botox, the two treatments are very similar and cost almost the same. One Dysport unit costs about 1/3 as much as one Botox unit. Both neuromodulators work equally well and can be used for cosmetic purposes.
Although they are both very similar in terms of cost, Dysport delivers faster results and lasts longer. The average person can see noticeable differences in a matter of two to three days. Additionally, a single Dysport treatment may require fewer sessions than multiple Botox sessions.
It diffuses even more
Botox, Dysport and Dysport have distinct effects on the skin. Botox remains at the injection site for longer and is less likely to cause skin damage, but Dysport spreads more evenly and diffuses over a greater area. This allows it to be used in larger areas and requires less injections. However, the effectiveness of Botox may not be as great as Dysport.

Both Botox, Dysport and Dysport contain biologic processor proteins. These neuromodulators are responsible for protecting the toxin's integrity and ensuring it continues to work properly. These proteins will affect how the toxin is injected and how much it diffuses.
It reduces glabella lines
Botox, also known as frown lines or glabellar, is a popular treatment that reduces forehead glabellar and frown lines. These lines appear above the eyebrows and are caused by the repeated movement of the brow muscles. This injectable treatment is effective in reducing glabellar line and can help prevent the creation of new ones. It can also smoothen existing lines.
Botox lasts for three to four months. There is no downtime. The effects can be seen within two to three weeks and last for up three to four month. The glabellar lines can also be treated with Juvederm. Juvederm is not able to prevent the formation of glabellar lines, as Botox. It smoothens existing glabellar wrinkles and takes only 10 minutes. And because the results last for three to four months, it is the ideal treatment for stubborn glabellar lines.
It is much more effective
Botox as well as Dysport can be used to treat wrinkles. However they do have differences. Botox can be used in smaller areas, such as the forehead. Dysport is more concentrated and spreads across a larger area. The main difference between the two injectables is the amount used and how long they take to work.
However, side effects can occur due to both products. Dysport injections can pose risks to patients who have chosen Dysport. Although bruising and swelling can be expected, patients should not lay down immediately after receiving Dysport. Patients should not exercise for at minimum four hours after treatment. Although they are similar in their effects, they have different molecular and structural differences. Some people may experience side effects from either drug.

It is safer
Botox and Dysport both have certain risks. While injectables such as Botox and Dysport are both safe, it's important to discuss the potential risks with your physician prior to undergoing any treatment. Botulinum poisoning is one of the complications that these neurotoxins can cause. This happens when an injection spreads into another part.
Although the main ingredient in both injections is the same, the two products differ in trace protein levels, making one treatment more effective than the other. Both products are currently under further investigation to determine which is safer and more efficient. Both injections take only minutes to administer, although Botox takes longer to dry. After the injection is complete you can leave the doctor's clinic.
